Accessibility statement

The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, which also covers the Israeli standard IS 5568 (level AA) referenced by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.

• Every page is tested with the axe-core WCAG 2.1 AA rules in light and dark mode before changes go live.
• Text and controls meet AA colour contrast in both themes. The site follows the device's light or dark setting, and a button switches themes.
• Everything works from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link. The paper maps can be explored with the arrow keys.
• Charts and maps have text descriptions, and the same information is available as text lists on the Publications, Research and Lab pages.
• Animation is switched off when the device asks for reduced motion.
• Pages work at 400% zoom and on phones without sideways scrolling. Headings, landmarks and form labels are marked up for screen readers.

• The downloadable CV and publication list are PDF files that may not be fully tagged for screen readers. The same content is on the CV and Publications pages.
• Links to papers lead to publishers' websites, whose accessibility we do not control.
• The co-author network on the Lab page is visual; the people it shows are listed in text on the same page and in Publications.

אתר זה נבנה כך שיהיה נגיש לכולם, כולל משתמשים בקורא מסך, במקלדת בלבד, בהגדלה או בהפחתת תנועה. האתר שואף לעמוד בהנחיות WCAG 2.1 ברמה AA ובתקן הישראלי ת"י 5568 ברמה AA, בהתאם לתקנות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות (התאמות נגישות לשירות), התשע"ג-2013.

• כל העמודים נבדקים בכלי axe-core לפי WCAG 2.1 AA, במצב בהיר ובמצב כהה.
• ניגודיות הצבעים עומדת ברמה AA. ניתן לעבור בין מצב בהיר לכהה.
• ניתן לנווט בכל האתר באמצעות המקלדת, עם סימון פוקוס ברור וקישור "דילוג לתוכן".
• לתרשימים ולמפות יש תיאור טקסטואלי, והמידע זמין גם כרשימות טקסט.
• אנימציות מושבתות כאשר המכשיר מבקש הפחתת תנועה.

מגבלות ידועות: קובצי ה-PDF (קורות חיים ורשימת פרסומים) עשויים שלא להיות נגישים במלואם; אותו מידע מופיע בעמודי האתר. קישורים למאמרים מובילים לאתרי מוציאים לאור שאינם בשליטתנו.
